PEIP Medicare options for retirees
Who's Eligible?
Any retiree and their spouse from a public sector employer (except State of MN retirees) is eligible to enroll in PEIP’s Group Retiree Medical program when they reach age 65 or become Medicare eligible. (MN Stat. 471.61). Retirees must have Medicare Parts A and B, or Part B only. No physical examination or health statement is required. Each retiree can choose between HealthPartners, BlueCross Blue Shield and UCare plan options. Advantage Plans and Cost Plans are available based on the County of your residence.
Annual enrollment is held each year in the fall for a January 1st effective date.
Plan information and rates are shown below. Innovo’s customer service is available to answer your questions regarding eligibility and enrollment. To enroll, contact Innovo and an enrollment kit will be provided.
